Frequent questions
1. Is it necessary to have a title to sail with A tu bola charter?
No, it is not necessary to have a degree or previous knowledge, a professional skipper will always accompany you and will be in charge of teaching you everything you need and taking you wherever you want... whenever time permits.
2. What type of sailboat do we sail with?
A tu bola charter has a Bavaria Cruise 46 model sailboat with 4 large double cabins, one of them bunk beds reserved for the skipper and sailor, 2 bathrooms with shower, full kitchen with fridge, gas stove with 2 burners, oven, coffee machine capsules, ice machine and all the necessary kitchen utensils, a large bathtub with a central table, rear outdoor shower, and a magnificent bow where you can lie down to relax and sunbathe.
3. Is it necessary to bring sheets and towels?
With the comfort pack you will have sheets and shower towels (not beach towels) to travel comfortably.
4. How much does it cost to rent the paddle board and kayak?
The paddle board and the kayak are included in the comfort pack! We want you to enjoy your trip and you will not only have that, but the snorkeling equipment is also at your disposal within the comfort pack.
5. What if the weather is really bad and we can't go out?
It is clear that we cannot control the weather and there will be times when we will not be able to start as we wish. In each case we will find the best solution for the type of pack contracted, from postponing the departure, looking for new dates, etc.
6. Is the purchase of food included?
The purchase must be made by the customer. Renting a sailboat is like renting a tourist apartment, but on the water. There are supermarkets that can bring the purchase to the port, you just have to make the purchase online or in person and ask them to bring it to you. Do not forget that the maintenance of the skipper is the responsibility of the client.
7. Is there a capsule coffee machine on board?
You will find a capsule coffee maker and an Italian coffee maker so you can enjoy coffee as you like.
8. What other things should I consider when making the purchase?
Normally we stay on board a few hours before leaving to help you with the shopping list and make sure nothing goes wrong. There are basics that you always have to carry, such as oil, toilet and kitchen paper, packaged food, pasta, rice, cans of preserves, lots of water, etc.
9. Could I use my mobile charger? And the hair dryer and iron?
Yes, you can charge your mobile in any of the many USB ports distributed throughout the sailboat, but hair dryers and irons are completely ruled out. Remember that we are not connected to the electricity grid and we cannot abuse consumption.
